Hi!! I am Gene and a male Shih Tzu mix around 3 to 5 years old and weighing in at 12 lbs. I am from the breeding situation where we were not being well cared for due to too many dogs. I am very fearful and skittish with new people as I had zero socialization. But I am now warming up to my foster Mom! If you can give me love and patience, I will be worth the effort. I love other dogs and take my cues from them, so the rescue is looking for a home with another laid-back dog to teach me about being in a home versus being a stud in breeding farm. I do not know about leashes so a fully fenced yard is a must too!
