DOB 7-21-2016 Meet Genevieve! Genevieve is a 8 year old, female, shih tzu, and weighs 13lbs. She would prefer someone who is home more often than they are gone. Someone who works from home would be ideal! This girl really needs comfort and lots of rubs to help her adjust in her new home. Her favorite place to be is next to you being pet. But, she does bond with one family member more than the other. She gives you the cutest smile with all her teeth when she gets excited. She is great with house training when kept on a schedule. Genevieve will need a secure fenced yard. No doggie doors or electric fencing! She has not been introduced to a leash and prefers to be carried. She is neutral with all the dogs in her foster home but if she does not want to be bothered by them she will let them know. She has not been introduced to cats but we do not for see them being an issue. Children aged 12+ would be best. Genevieve has chronic dry eye and does require daily eyedrops. Please note that Shih Tzu’s require professional grooming and daily brushing to keep the coat healthy and mat free.
