My Story

Georgia is a great pup who is teaming with love, curiosity and playfulness. She loves to play an snuggle with her resident foster sister, Penny a 75 lb pitbull who has been teaching her about sharing toys, boundaries and soft mouth play, and navigating the terrifying world of stairs. In just one short week, Georgia has learned to sit for her harness, treats and meals and she is working on other commands like shake and touch She knows that going potty outside is important and earns her a reward! She is well on her way to being housetrained. Georgia's foster family know how important it is or all pets t get along and has already been introduced to cats and a horse! Georgia is shaping up to be a smart, well-behaved and lovable young lady and will be the perfect companion! AGE: 14 weeks WEIGHT: 10 lbs This puppy, 5 siblings, and their mom (Tiff), came to us from our rescue partners in Texas. All of the siblings have G names. HOW TO ADOPT: THIS dog is NOT in the shelter. For puppies in foster care, you MUST submit an application via EMAIL to [email protected]. Please note in the email subject which puppy you are interested in. Go to: http://www.smallmiraclesrescue.org and click "How to Adopt". There you will find the dog application available for download. The more information you provide, the faster the process is for all of us. Once you are approved to adopt, we will schedule an appointment to see the puppy in person and you will adopt and take it home that day. Due to the (usual) speed and ease of our adoption process, PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT RIGHT NOW. If you are not ready to adopt within the next couple of days, we totally understand - just wait to apply until you are ready. Adoption Fees: Before our dogs are available for adoption, they will always be spayed/neutered, vaccinated (Distemper, Parvovirus, Bordetella, Rabies as much as age-appropriate), stool sample checked for parasites, and dewormed. Adoption fee for our dogs is $375, $40 for a microchip and registration and $25 for a 3 month supply of heartworm preventative, for a TOTAL of $440.
