At 8 years young, this charming lady may have a touch of salt in her sugar, but don't let that fool you-she's still got plenty of pep in her step and opinions to share! Gertrude and her sister Bernadette were sadly surrendered to our shelter, but this resilient little lady is ready to sniff out her next adventure. True to her beagle roots, she's got the gift of gab, so expect plenty of heartfelt conversations (and the occasional dramatic monologue about how dinner was 30 seconds late). She's lived with other dogs before and seems to be a great candidate for a family with kids. Cats? Well, we still need to test her beagle manners around them, but she promises to be on her best behavior (or at least try).
