Friends of Bedford County Animal Shelter sponsored a vet visit with Dr. Ryan at Riverside Veterinary Hospital. She estimated this dog to be at least 8 to 9 years old. She has severe spondylosis. She recommended a regimen of Carprofen and gabapentin. This is less expensive and she feels is as good of a treatment plan. Owner surrender… Sad Situation! Ghost, female, 4 years old. Turned in because it was found that she has spondylosis in her lumbar spine, causing her some mobility issues and pain in her hips, and their vet recommended monthly Librela injections, and the family could no longer afford her care.
