Gibson was picked up by animal control in a rural area we help with his siblings. No one came to the shelter to claim him, so he was going to be euthanized. One of our awesome fosters met him and couldn’t leave him behind. She brought him into her home to save his life and give us time to find him a wonderful home. He has been in our care for a month and now he’s ready for adoption!
Gibson has been with 4 children from 2 to 18 years old, and he loves them. He is leash trained, house trained and rides well in the car. He is a described as a very sweet boy by anyone he meets. He is a little shy at first, but once you talk with him he warms up quickly.
Gibson has done very well with all other animals he has met.
He loves to cuddle and doesn’t mind having a bath. He learned leash and sit in one day. He is VERY quick to pick up on other training. We were told that his mother is a Bobtail Red Heeler and weighs 30 pounds.
Our vet estimates that he is 9 months - 1 year old, and he weighs 25 pounds. Gibson has been neutered, vaccinated for DHPP, bordetella vaccinated, rabies vaccinated, microchipped and is current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention.
Gibson will arrive in the PNW on 11/16. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out the application found here: https://throwadogabone.org/adopt
