Meet Gidget!
Are you ready to meet the most charming mystery pup in town? Gidget, our pint-sized American Bully (or so the test result says!), is the perfect mix of resilience, sweetness, and silliness. We suspect she may have tampered with her DNA test results—how else could she pack so much personality into under 15 pounds?
Gidget’s story began tragically. Found in an abandoned building and weighing only 6 pounds, she was mistaken for a young puppy. But a trip to the vet revealed she was older than she looked, simply malnourished. Thanks to lots of TLC, good food, and a sprinkle of determination, Gidget now proudly holds her head high—literally and figuratively!
At just 7 months old (born around 5/19/2024), Gidget is a true survivor and a blossoming Very Good Girl. Though her early days left her with a slight wobble in new situations, this girl warms up in minutes, especially if there’s food involved. Gidget’s super sniffer suggests she might have a future as a scent-work champion or snack taster!
Here’s why Gidget might just be your perfect match:
Crate and house trained: She’s a polite housemate who only fusses in her crate when it’s time for a potty break.
People and kid approved: Gidget is great with men, women, and children as young as toddlers. She’s been a hit with visiting kids aged 3 to teens!
Dog-friendly: Gidget gets along well with dogs of all sizes. She can be a feisty playmate but is learning great manners from her doggy friends.
Car ride enthusiast: Whether it’s a quick trip or a longer ride, Gidget loves being your co-pilot.
Toy tester extraordinaire: From hilarious toy attacks to mastering food puzzles, Gidget knows how to entertain. Her shredding skills are unmatched—so stock up on stuffed animals!
Cuddle queen: When she’s tired, she loves nothing more than to snuggle in your arms like a baby.
Special Notes:
Gidget is still working on her sensitivity to hands, harnesses, and clothing near her head, but she’s making progress. She thrives in a patient, loving home that will give her the time she needs to learn and grow. A family to go at her pace and allow her to be comfortable is key.
Gidget has already overcome so much in her short life, and she’s ready for a forever family to show her what love is all about. Are you ready to give this quirky, lovable girl the happy ending she deserves?
Adopt Gidget today—because every day with her will feel like a victory lap!
