Holy cuteness!!! Please say hello to Giggles and Giddy!! These boys arrived from Nanwalek recently and need fosters or, even better, their FOREVER homes!!! Mom is said to be a Chihuahua/Siberian Husky mix and dad possibly a Husky or German Shepherd mix. They're about 8 weeks old. Good with dogs and kids, haven't met cats yet. Do well in a crate. They need lots of patience while they learn potty-training and basic good puppy skills. Adorable!!!
ADOPT:
Pups will be foster-to-adopt until spayed/neutered (once complete, the Adoption Contract will be finalized). KPAL Rescue puppies are vetted (age-appropriately vaccinated, microchipped, etc.) and are required to be spayed/neutered (a Foster-to-Adopt Contract will need to be signed at pick-up, the surgery date is pre-scheduled). There will be an adoption fee of $350 + tax so that we can continue to help other animals in need. Our adoption process is outlined on our website: www.kpalrescue.org/pet-adoption/, our Adoption Application can also be found on that website. Please direct questions regarding adoption to [email protected].
FOSTER:
Foster homes love and care for the pets in rescue during the interim time from surrender to adoption. Commitment times vary but it's usually anywhere from 2 weeks to 90 days. While in foster, we provide supplies (kennel, leash, collar, etc.), food, and vet care. Our fosters supply the love and safety for the animal until they are adopted into their new home. More information on fostering can be found in this great article: https://poochonacouch.com/guide-to-fostering-dogs/. Our Foster Application can be found on https://kpalrescue.org/foster-volunteer/. Foster homes must be located in/around Kenai/Soldotna/Homer due to logistics.
PLEASE share to help find homes for these babies!
