My Story

Gilligan is a sweet and tenderhearted dog who is about 7 months old and weighs 7 pounds. He and his siblings were dumped in a crate outside of a rescuer's home. Once he knows you will be kind, he loves to get attention and affection. He gets along well with the other dogs at the rescue. He is a wonderful dog who just wants a family to call his own! He has the cutest underbite ever. Gilligan is at our rescue near San Antonio and a meet and greet can be arranged with an approved application. He is neutered, up to date on all shots, microchipped and his adoption fee is $375. If you would like to add this cutie to your family, please review our process and complete an application here - https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/adopt Learn more about our rescue here: https://www.facebook.com/TracysPawsRescue Services our dogs receive prior to adoption: Chagas Testing Heartworm and Tick Testing (age appropriate) All age-appropriate vaccines Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives Spay/neuter surgery Microchip *The breed(s) listed are guessed and based on the dog's physical appearance* Gilligan tested positive for Chagas disease and has started his treatment. This is completely curable after treatment and dogs can go on to live long and happy lives. Our rescue is one of the first to do Chagas testing for all of the dogs in our care and is having measurable success in the treatment protocol. We are also focused on continued education and awareness of Chagas to help even more dogs. For more information, please review here: https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/chagas
