My Story

My name is Ginger, and I am part Retriever/Husky. My foster mom says I am a very loving girl that enjoys chewing my bones and playing with her in the yard. I am housetrained and crate trained, and walk nicely on a leash. Besides cuddling with my foster mom, I enjoy riding in her big truck. I can be a little weary of men when I first meet them, but warm up quickly when I know it's ok. DOB 7/26/23 38 Pounds I'm waiting for a home to call my own. email [email protected] to learn more about me or fill out an application at https://www.petrefuge.com/adopt Pet Refuge was formed in 1978 to help with cats and dogs in need of homes. We are a limited admission shelter that supports our local animals control facilities by helping take in the overflow of cats and dogs from their facilities. We also take in owner surrenders as space allows. Pet Refuge is a volunteer based shelter, learn more about us on our website - petrefuge.com or send an email to [email protected] or leave a message at 574-231-1122. We are always recruiting new volunteers. Our volunteers work hard and also have family and jobs away from Pet Refuge, we ask for your patience in correspondence.
