Meet Gizmo!! Where do we even start with our special boy... Gizmo came from our rural shelter partner after I happened upon him last week in a kennel all by himself. I swear this boy was smiling ear to ear. He was the happiest little man just wagging his tail. Well when we heard his gut wrenching story it was not even a question we were taking him in. Gizmo was left in a wire crate on the side of a highway by a despicable human being. Leaving a dog in a crate with no food or water exposed to the elements with no way to protect or defend themselves is just downright disgusting. Its hard to imagine this incredible boy in such a difficult spot. Thankfully we had some incredible fosters step up to help us get these babies inside before the snow and Gizmo hit the JACKPOT. Almost immediately this boy found the floofiest bed and toys and plopped his little booty down for some good snuggles and nap time. Gizmo knows he is safe. This boy has NOT stopped smiling. When you see him in person you can see what we mean. He has the biggest and meatiest little grin and its quite literally the most infectious smile in Charleston. Gizmo may have had a rough go in his first four years of life but this little walking potato is going to thrive going forward. Gizmo ADORES other animals and kids. He is sweet and gentle and the cutest little low rider. He is a shortie and he is stout albeit a bit rotund. Due to lack of care he is missing a ton of hair on his back legs and would benefit from some pants in this weather LOLIt has already started growing back since receiving the proper medical care. Gizmo is going to make an incredible addition to just about any family. Gizmo is fully vetted and neutered. He is unfortunately heartworm positive and is receiving treatment with our veterinarian.
