My Story

Glinda is a female King Charles Cavalier. At 4.5 years old, 16 lbs with a calm, loving temperament. She was surrendered from a commercial breeder and has had multiple litters. Glinda loves the morning. She tends to be most active in the morning and then after dinner again, she likes to eat then go out and run around in the yard a bit. Then she will play with her toys. She loves stuffed toys. She will take each one out of her toy box in the morning and place them in a pile on the floor. She also likes to chase after her stuffed toys if you throw them, but does not bring them back yet, will just put them back in her pile. Although we would not put her in the category of a high energy dog. She is very mellow and calm. After playtime is over she likes to snuggle up on the couch and take a nap. She is a great nap buddy if you want to snuggle with her. Glinda loves to be pet and to be close to you. She will take her paw and tap your leg or arm if she wants to be pet. At times she can be a little skittish. If you move to fast she will cower at times, this is typical commercial breeder behavior. Other important behavior traits to note is that she is not good walking on a leash. Her foster is working on this with her, however, she does not know how to walk on a leash. So having a fenced in yard for her to go to the bathroom and play is a must. She also is not great with steps. She can go up a couple steps, maybe three at most, she does not seem to get the concept of them just yet, but in time she will get better at this, as she has already improved over the last month. Glinda is good with other dogs and cats. She is also good with children. However it is suggested that the children are older since Glinda scares easy. She has only been around children 12 and older. Glinda is crate trained, she sleeps in her crate at night without a problem. She is also house broken, although you have to take her out on a regular schedule, she does not always give you signs that she has to go out. She is up to date on all her vaccinations and is spay, as well as up to date on her preventatives. Glinda will make a wonderful companion to the right home, she really is an amazing dog. Glinda is located in Allentown PA and everyone in the household would have to come meet Glinda if interested in adopting. Including other house hold dogs. www.zoeshouserescue.com Zoe's House Rescue Kennel License 9117 Sinking Spring, PA 19608
