My Story

Glory is truly a glorious pup! She is proof of the resiliency of dogs, and she has a loving and gentle nature. Glory came to us from Mexico after surviving a disease that is lethal to most pups (distempter). She fought through it, but one of her legs had to be amputated due to atrophy. We know how sad that sounds, but Glory is anything but sad! She has a real zest for life and the most loving spirit. Glory can be a bit shy at first, so she needs a home that will be patient with her while she gets her bearings and realizes she's safe. Once she's comfortable, she will become your shadow. Glory LOVES to snuggle. She's mellow in the house, but playful with other pups. Glory is full grown, weighing in at under 30 pounds. The perfect size! She looks like a Shepherd mix, but she's a shorty and very petite. She's so cute and unique. Glory would do best in a home with at least 1 other friendly dog. She does very well with cats and older kids. Although she's a sweetie, she's a bit nervous at first, so she'd be most comfortable in a home without tiny tots. Glory is doing well with house training, but it's a new concept to her so she'll need continued training. She loves treats, so she's highly trainable. Our favorite thing about Glory is how affectionate she is once she's comfortable. If you bring Glory into your home, you'll always feel unconditional love.
