Gnocchi

Gnocchi is an extremely calm, sweet, and loving dog. She is At Risk due to her levels of stress in the shelter environment. Gnocchi is potty trained, leash trained, and kennel trained, but needs some coaxing to go in the kennel. After a shelter stay, we think that's pretty understandable. <br/><br/>Gnocchi came to the shelter covered in blood, unable to stand or walk, and terrified. We believe she was hit by a car, and it fractured her arm and made her lose feeling in her tail. Her tail was amputated and she still walks with a limp, but gets better every day. <br/><br/>Gnocchi is an honorary senior, which means she's not that old physically, but she has an old soul. Gnocchi is calm, polite, well-mannered, and gentle in everything she does. She looks at you, eyes are so full of wisdom and trust, and everything else melts away. <br/><br/>She loves to be groomed and brushed. She is growing very tired of her kennel in the shelter and is urgent to find a home to continue her recovery. All she needs is a few more weeks of rest, and she'll be good as new. Due to her injuries, we have not seen Gnocchi interact with other pets and recommend a meet and greet and slow introductions with any resident dogs. She ignores cats on her walks. ...
