Gonzo is such a happy guy and has really become a favorite of our team, because he's just so enjoyable to be around. His beautifully outlined eyes are quite the attention grabbers!
Gonzo spent a few months in a foster home before coming to Foothills, and we know that he enjoys long walks, bouncing around and playing withs squeaky stuffy toys. During downtime he looks forward to lounging on the couch and getting all the pets and scratches from his favorite people!
In addition to taking Gonzo out for daily walks here at Foothills, some of our volunteers have also taken him for outdoor hikes and have told us he has a blast! They very much enjoy his sweet demeanor and good behavior. He tends to be a nose-to-the-ground walker, who enjoys taking in all the smells and scents with a "things to do and places to see" approach to his strolls, savors tasty treats, and at times may take one of his favorite toys with him on the walks.
