My Story

Meet Greyson! This little chihweenie is 4-6 years old and he's a dog on a mission - he loves to walk! He's also cat friendly and loves a nap. \ He was found as a stray in Texas before making his way to NY~ His foster says: "Grayson is a 15lb, small and adventurous sweetheart! Greyson does great on a leash, and LOVES the outdoors. He is completely house-trained; he hasn’t marked any rugs or had a single accident. At home, Greyson loves to sleep on the couch, and will sometimes ask for belly rubs. Greyson is also very aware and respectful of boundaries. For example, he gives the resident cat plenty of space and lets the cat come to him to say hello. Grayson wants to socialize with other dogs but can sometimes be a little reactive. His forever family will continue to work with him on playing with other dogs. Overall, Greyson is a total dream. He immediately fits in to your home and daily rhythm. He would do best with a family that enjoys walking and taking him places - its his favorite thing to do besides back in your love! INTERESTED IN ADOPTING? To adopt Greyson, apply on our website www.truenorthrescue.org/adopt and email [email protected] to follow up on your application. PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL TO ASK IF HE/SHE IS AVAILABLE. IF THIS LISTING IS UP, THE DOG IS NOT ADOPTED YET. Also, we have a very high volume of applications and we are all volunteers. We cannot respond to every application personally. Please make sure your application gives us a good picture of your family and the life you plan on providing a dog from our rescue. We choose a home based on the BEST FIT for EACH dog and approve on a dog by dog basis. Thank you!
