Griff

While Griff may have had a rough patch - he was found on the street before we got him, living a hard life fending for himself - he really is the bestest boy - he loves attention, playing and snuggling with his favorite people! He is very curious, and has the sweetest temperament and personality. He loves to follow everyone around to find out what everyone is doing, and in particular loves to be in the kitchen while dinner is being made because that's where the action is! (Not to mention is smells AMAZING up there...what's going on up there he wonders!) When he's not following others around or cuddling, he goes to his toy basket to dig around and find the toy that most needs playing with. He plays and plays - both by himself and with his foster family - and is a good boy about occupying himself if needed. He loves a good nap on the couch - with or without snuggling. While Griff loves to play, he's also very chill and content to nap for hours on end while his humans have to work - he just comes in to say hi from time to time! Griff has never met a human or animal he doesn't like, he is a friend to all, and does very well with his grumpy foster brother! He sleeps in his crate all night without complaint and waits patiently to be woken up. Since adjusting to his foster home, he hasn't had any accidents - he knows where to go and when to go! He's still working on signaling he's ready to go outside, but is doing good at not making messes inside. While playful, he does well at channeling his energy, and has not torn anything up or shown any destructive behavior. He's very polite on a leash and terrific and patient with children. Overall, Griff really does have a terrific, sweet and playful personality and will make a terrific fit for any family. We think Griff is a Male miniature schnauzer/Yorkshire Terrier mix that we estimate to be about 2 years old, he weighs 15 pounds.
