My Story

Yes, this Guac is extra too! Our girl Guacamole is filled with personality, puppy nonsense, and a touch of naughtiness. She is still learning the best way to communicate when she gets excited, but nothing that can't be taught. Guacamole is squishy like a puppy but has a full grown body. She loves treats, is still working on commands, and allows handling all over. Her coat and body need some TLC. Guacamole appears to have lived outside and came in with a deep cut to her neck and worn off hair from whatever she was tied out to. It is disgusting how animals are treated by some people. We are here to try to make it better one beautiful dog at a time. Came in as a stray on 8/30/24. Found with A280659 near 6500 S Kings Dr, Chicago Adoptions are walk-in 12-6 daily at 2741 S. Western Ave. Chicago, IL Email [email protected] for more information. The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID. All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up to date rabies vaccination for your dog or dogs. Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.
