Guero

Meet Guero! Guero is 8 years old and blind, surrendered by his family to one of the most full shelter systems in the country, Los Angeles Animal Services. Because the shelter was so short on kennel space, they were keeping Guero in one of their shelter shower stalls hoping to buy him some time for someone to notice him and exit him. On January 25th, our volunteer went to Harbor Shelter in LA and brought Guero to Frosted Faces Foundation. We had a special baby blue collar waiting for him with "I am blind" on it, so volunteers know to use caution when walking him on our trails! In an exciting development, the day after Guero arrived, we learned a donor would like to pay for his cataract surgery if he is an eligible candidate! He has an exam coming up, and we can't wait to find out if he can take advantage of this amazing gift! After being abandoned by the only family he ever knew, Guero is getting lots of love and care as a Frosted Face, and his future is bright! For the rest of his days, he will be cherished by us and his forever family. Check back soon for an update on how Guero is doing!
