GUINNESS

Guinness is the perfect example of why "retriever" was added to Labrador to name this breed. He LIVES for chasing balls, and there is nothing that makes him happier than bringing it back for you to throw again. This beautiful boy is about 18 months old, and came to Lab Rescue as a stray from a local shelter. Guinness is a silver lab, and boy does he wear it well!! Although he doesn't signal to go out, Guinness is house and crate trained, and sleeps all night in his crate. He likes other dogs, but really prefers to be with his foster family over anything else. He knows how to sit and give his paw, and responds well to correction when needed. He has not been tested with kids or cats. His foster mom says this about him: He is overall a very well behaved and generally calm dog (especially given his age), but he should be in a home where they can provide him with activity. He LOVES our family walks and can't stop wagging his tail during the entire walk; it's so cute. He settles extremely well in the house when it's time, but playing with humans seems to make him the happiest. A perfect home for him would be where they can provide lots of snuggles!
