Gunner

Gunner lived the first 2 years of his life tied to a chain outdoors. When he was no longer wanted, his captor shot him and left him for dead. Fortunately, a neighbor brought him to the shelter where he received life-saving care. Thanks to his time in a loving foster home, Gunner has blossomed into the sweetest boy. He's playful, active, and eager to be the life of the party! However, now that he's used to human company and kindness, he really hates going without it. Gunner becomes upset when left alone for more than a couple hours. His adopters should be willing to help him overcome this separation anxiety. There are many trainers experienced with this issue, and we're happy to make recommendations. Gunner is around 2 years old and 40 lbs. He's fostered in NYC and is available for adoption anywhere in the US as long as the adopter is willing/able to travel to NYC to meet him.
