Meet Gus! Gus is a brilliant Border Collie mix who has a heart full of adventure. Gus came into our care when his guardian's lifestyle changed. Gus is happiest when he's bounding through snow-covered trails, or chasing his favorite frisbee. A true outdoorsman, he thrives when he's getting his daily dose of fresh air-whether it's mountain biking, trail running, or swimming, Gus is always up for an adventure. After a good workout, this smart cookie loves nothing more than crashing on the couch for a well-deserved nap. He's a pro at tricks, like sit, down, paw, and, and he'll do anything for his beloved peanut butter and Greek yogurt. Gus has a special love for snow-he gets so excited when he sees a shovel! Crate trained and mellow, he'll happily settle into his crate when it's time for a rest. When it's time for a car ride, Gus is first in line, excited for the next adventure. This bright and loving boy is a charming companion for an active family. If you're looking for a dog who's as smart as he is fun, Gus might just be the one for you! Could you have room in your home and heart for gentleman Gus? Dogs: Gus is dog social. If you have a dog at home, we'll arrange a meet-and-greet before you head home. Cats: Gus is seeking a home without feline friends. Children: Gus may be most successful in a home with older children, teens and adults. Visit our Adoption Center during our Winter Hours to meet your potential new best friend! We're open Tuesday through Friday from 1 PM to 4 PM and Saturday from 12 PM to 4 PM.
