My Story
Meet GusGus, a 9/10-month-old bundle of joy and the happiest pup you'll ever meet! This big, goofy boy is the epitome of love and laughter, with a unique coat that looks like he was meant to be all black but wandered through a puddle of Dalmatian paint—his lower half is white, sprinkled with the most stunning spots that make him a real head-turner. His personality is just as delightful as his appearance. GusGus is super laid-back, easygoing, and always ready to roll with the punches, but he's still a playful puppy at heart. Whether he's chasing a ball or being chased by his dog friends, his playful energy is infectious. He’s a champ at fetch, but honestly, nothing makes him happier than a good game of chase with his furry pals.
What really makes GusGus stand out is his hilarious napping style. He’s made of rubber bands! This contortionist pup has a knack for twisting himself into the goofiest positions when he sleeps, and you can’t help but smile every time you catch him snoozing in one of his ridiculous poses. GusGus is the king of naps—he loves his rest—but when he’s not sleeping, he’s a social butterfly who adores hanging out with his foster family and their three other dogs. He even shares his home with an older, deaf dog and shows the sweetest compassion and respect, always giving space when it’s needed.
One of GusGus’s favorite pastimes is gazing out the window, taking in the sights and sounds of the world. He could sit there for hours, daydreaming and soaking up the simple pleasures of life. And when it’s time to settle in for the night? GusGus transforms into a world-class snuggler. He’s hands down the best little spoon you’ll ever have the pleasure of curling up with. He loves being close to his humans and will stick to you like Velcro, following you around the house with those big, adoring eyes, whether you're doing the dishes or cooking dinner. He just wants to be near you, offering unconditional love and companionship.
GusGus is the full package—he’s housebroken, up to date on all his vetting, fixed, and crate trained, though he much prefers being out and about. He does fine in his crate but would thrive in a home where he isn’t left alone for long hours. He’s a big puppy with a big heart, and he needs space to stretch those legs and get his zoomies out! A fenced yard would be a dream for this boy, and he’d love a dog sibling to keep him company and show him the ropes.
GusGus is one of the best foster dogs his current family has ever had the honor of caring for, and they can’t wait to see him find his forever family. His new home will be incredibly lucky to have him. GusGus is ready to bring his goofy charm, endless love, and velcro-dog loyalty to a family that will adore him as much as his foster family does.
