Meet Gwen, the prettiest little chihuahua/terrier mix who is looking for a loving forever family. Gwen is a very lovable dog who enjoys spending her time curled up with her people. She may be tiny in size, but don’t tell her that. She thinks she’s as big as anything she meets, and she can hold her ground. She plays very well with her 70lb foster brother Golden Retriever but when play time is done, she prefers to cuddle as close to your neck as she can get. Gwen has a great appetite and enjoys her breakfast, lunch and dinner and will let you know if you’re late to feeding her by patiently waiting by her bowl. She’s not a fan of the cold, so she hasn’t mastered potty training outside yet, but is beginning to show the early signs of being bell trained. She travels very well and loves to go to new places via her “bag” (her foster mom’s purse). She’s a very smart little girl! She prefers to sleep with her humans at night and not a kennel but is an excellent sleeper and can make it through the entire night curled up in bed without having an accident. When she’s ready to get up in the morning to go to the bathroom, she’ll let you know by giving you kisses on your face. Gwen is an easy-going girl, so while she doesn’t have any “must haves” for her forever home, she does thoroughly enjoy people/kids and the company of another dog, so she’d be very happy in a large, loving family.
