*****AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AFTER 2/4 Hammy is a wonderful pup who needs a special family to call his own. This handsome 8-year-old boy is a Beagle mix, weighing in at a petite 25lbs. Unfortunately, he found himself as a stray and is now patiently waiting for someone to give him the love and stability he deserves. Hammy is a bit at first, but with a little patience and love, he warms up quickly and will be your loyal companion for life. Hammy loves to stay busy and active, so he is looking for a home that can keep up with his energetic spirit. Hammy has done well with the dogs he has met here at the shelter and would do best in a home with a canine companion to help him feel more at ease. He is a bit shy in new situations and with new people, so a loving and patient family would be perfect for him to help him feel safe and secure. Hammy has been neutered, microchipped and Heartworm tested. We have updated all vaccines including rabies. He has been given a dewormer and started on flea/tick prevention.
