Say howdy to Hank! This spotted fella came to TCHS due to his owner moving. He was adopted and returned a short time later due to having a prey drive towards cats.
He has been a friendly, gentle guy since arriving. He is house-trained and will whine at the door when he needs a restroom break. He was accustomed to using a crate in his previous home and sleeping in it at night or when his owner was running errands. He enjoys digging in the yard, chewing on sticks, and getting car rides.
Hank gets excited when meeting new people, greeting them with a wagging tail! He lived with other dogs in his previous home and got along well with them. One of his favorite activities is running around outside and playing with his owner. He does pull on the leash, so he'll benefit from obedience training and positive reinforcement - especially with treats, which he takes gently from your hand. His big puppy eyes are sure to melt your heart. Due to his previous desire to chase cats, he should not go to a home with them.
Come meet this gorgeous guy today!
