My Story
Meet Hans, a stunning 2-year-old male German Shepherd who’s ready to find his forever family! He has been living with a foster who is also a dog trainer, and during his time there, he has truly thrived. His foster can’t stop raving about how incredibly bright and devoted he is, even saying Hans might be the most loyal dog she’s ever had the pleasure to care for.
Hans has been exposed to a variety of environments and companions, making him a well-rounded pup. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs, cats, children, and even farm animals. His adaptable and friendly nature makes him the perfect candidate for almost any type of family. Hans's favorite thing in the world is playing fetch—he’d go after that ball all day if he could! He’s athletic, agile, and would excel as an agility dog, making him a perfect fit for an active family or anyone who loves spending time outdoors. But don’t worry—while Hans has plenty of energy, he’s also more than happy to lounge on the couch for some cuddle time. Just be prepared for him to follow you everywhere with his “Where are we going?” energy!
True to his breed, Hans thrives when his people are nearby. He does well in his crate when needed, but due to his energetic nature and breed, he’d much prefer a home where he isn’t crated for long periods of time. Hans is the kind of dog who will want to be your constant companion, providing unconditional love and protection. There’s absolutely no food aggression with Hans, and he’s a fan of the simple joys in life—especially Pup Cups, which he enjoys as a special treat.
Hans is UTD on all vaccinations, neutered, and fully house-trained, so he’s ready to make the transition into his new home.
