Harlow

Meet Harlow the Hunk! Harlow is a 4 year old Great Dane mix who was pulled after finding himself in a municipal shelter. We were happy to step in and give this handsome man the forever he deserves Harlow originally was an owner surrender due to his previous family becoming homeless and living out of their car. Harlow lived in that car with his family for a few months, before he found himself at the other shelter. Harlow was clearly loved in the past, but was not able to be properly cared for. He is very underweight and malnourished, but we are working on getting him back to a healthy weight. Harlow is SO sweet! He loves people, other dogs, cats, and is truly a gentle giant He acts like a puppy with all his happy energy and we are confident he will be a wonderful addition to a family. As with all rescue dogs, they will need a family who is understanding and prepared to work through a period of transition with them as they learn to live in a house and around people. They will need time to trust their new family before working on training, such as house training. This should go without saying, but we require all our animals to be trained using positive reinforcement methods ONLY.
