My Story

Harpo is a fun and goofy little gal waiting to find her new home along with her best friend and sister Repo. They are just the cutest when they are together, and bring each other lots of comfort. One thing she'll also want in her new home is lots of squeaky toys. They are Harpo's favorite! In her new home, she'll need time to adjust to her new environment, so we encourage adopters to give Harpo time and patience to do so. Once she's comfortable in her new home and with her new people, she'll show off her affectionate and silly nature! We do want potential adopters to know that Harpo recently had several cancerous masses removed. Our veterinarians do not know if the cancer metastasized or will do so. At this time, she does not appear to be in pain or have discomfort. However, she is available as a hospice adoption. By adopting her, her adopters are responsible for her medical care going forward with the understanding that we don't know how long she will be with us. When the time comes, AWS will cover euthanasia and cremation costs if done through our clinic. Our adoption counselors will go over Harpo's medical history during your meet-and-greet. And our veterinarians are available should you have any questions. if you'd like to bring two cute and fun-loving gals into your family, stop by to adopt Harpo and Repo today!
