My Story

Harry is thriving and loving life! He's really enjoying the colder weather and has been soaking up all the outdoor playtime he can. This smart boy has mastered sit and leave it and confidently uses the dog doorno more accidents at all! Harry is a fun, silly pup who does great in the car, loves his naps, and is just as content playing solo as he is with a friend. He adores hanging out with his human brother and gets along wonderfully with his feline and canine siblings. Harry would do great in a home with other dogs or dog-friendly cats. He's a happy, playful, and well-behaved boy ready to bring joy to his forever family! According to Wisdom Panel, Harry is a 3 1/2 month old German Shepherd Dog/Pit Bull/American Staffordshire Terrier/Australian Cattle Dog mix. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs.
