Hi, I’m Heidi! I’m a 7-month-old Shepherd mix with a heart as big as my paws! Right now, I weigh about 40 pounds, and I’ll probably grow to around 60 pounds when I’m all grown up. I’m here in New Hampshire, waiting to find a special family who will help me blossom into the best version of myself. I’m a shy girl at first and might need a little time to feel comfortable. Sometimes I hide until I know I’m safe, but once I trust you, I’ll melt your heart with my gentle kisses and loving soul. I’m already so loyal to my people, I just need someone patient and kind to help me build my confidence. One thing I absolutely need is another dog in my forever home. I thrive around other pups and learn so much from watching what they do. They help me come out of my shell and feel brave! I’m even good with cats which I know that can be important for potential adopters! I’m crate-trained, though I’d prefer not to spend too much time in one. I’m working hard on my leash skills. I’m still figuring out how to walk confidently, but with a little patience and guidance, I know I’ll get there. I have a sweet, gentle temperament and a lot of love to give.
