Henry

Please note: Henry is currently in a temporary foster home and not at the shelter. Just look at this face with the soulful eyes and forehead wrinkles. Meet Henry. Henry is a male bea-bull (beagle and bulldog) that weighs 45 pounds. He is 10 months old. His DOB is 2-19-24. Henry came to us as an owner surrender through no fault of his own. Henry is ALL puppy. He is a friendly and happy boy that would be a great co-pilot in the car. He loves to be around people and other dogs. He has as high energy level and would love an active family to take him on outings and hikes in the park. He is particularly fond of squeaky toys and chew toys. He can entertain himself. He would benefit having another dog in the home to help teach him the ropes. He has a rambunctious play style so a like-minded dog would be great. Cat compatibility is unknown. Henry will need help and patience with potty training but with a consistent and regular routine, we are confident that he will the hang of it in no time. He is crate trained. When Henry sees people, he gets excited and likes to jump on people. For that reason, we are asking for older children. In the home, Henry likes to counter-surf so general obedience training is recommended. Henry is available for our foster to adopt program which means you can foster him in your home until he finishes his vetting which includes neuter, vaccines, heartworm testing, and a microchip.
