Herbie

Meet Herbie (named because he is a love bug!)! Herbie is about 1 year old, 8 lbs, and he may have some Chihuahua and Dachshund in his mix! Herbie could no longer be cared for by his elderly owner. In his foster home, he is working hard on his house-training, crate training and has no experience leash walking. He could go to a home with teenagers and other small dogs and cats. His foster says, "Herbie (the love bug) was appropriately named because that he truly is - A Love Bug! He is the perfect combo packed into this pint sized package. He will fit in great for a family or person looking for a dog that's active but not too active. Affectionate but not needy. He needs his human to stay in yard with him to potty and during playtime. He loves going wherever you go. He does not mind being held and he is not barky. He loves wearing sweaters and is ready to make his way to Massachusetts." He is available for adoption in N Dartmouth on January 10th.
