My Story

Himalayan and her sisters were found wandering in a rural town. They were picked up by animal control and taken to the shelter. The shelter was at capacity so they were going to be euthanized. The shelter attendant asked if we could save them, and we agreed since one of our foster homes had space. Himalayan, and 3 other puppies we rescued that day, are now ready to find families. Once they’re adopted, their foster can offer her life saving home to more dogs in need. Himalayan is sweet girl that just needed a chance to live a better life. She is doing great at her foster home since we saved her. She has done great with the small, medium and large dogs in her foster home. She is also potty trained, crate trained and leash trained. We think Himalayan is a Lab and possibly Cattle Dog mix. She weighs 26 pounds. She is 5 months old so she will likely be 40-50 pounds when she’s full grown. She has been spayed, vaccinated twice for DHPP, bordetella vaccinated, rabies vaccinated, microchipped and is current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention. She is also heartworm negative. Himalayan will arrive in the Northeast on 9/21. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out the application found here: https://throwadogabone.org/adopt We respond to all inquiries.
