My Story

Meet Hinge !! Somehow this awesome puppy has not been chosen?! We are baffled because he is the best boy ever! The rest of his litter has already made their new families very happy. Now it’s His turn to find his forever place! Hinge is a male and is approx 5 months old. He weighs 25 pounds. His sister recently got a DNA test done and the litter is 51% beagle with a ton of other things mixed in to include Brittany spaniel (which is where he gets his adorable ears from) We expect him to stay on the smaller side of medium. Best guess 35 pounds full grown. He has already been given several sets of vaccines, dewormed, microchipped and neutered. He has been on flea and heartworm prevention as well. Hinge adores cuddles and being close to his humans. He's the epitome of a "Velcro dog" as he always wants to be by your side. His potty-training progress is amazing, and he's a real pro on walks. Plus, he sleeps through the night like a champ! Hinge has mastered sitting and his recall outdoors is top-notch. He loves finding pinecones or toys to carry around outside. He does outstanding on car rides and recently was a perfect angel on a three hour road trip. He is also crate trained. He was fostered with children as young as 2 years old and did well. He does still jump up sometimes when excited. He’s been great with all sizes of dogs even tiny ones. He has not lived with cats but he met one. He was very excited and barked a lot but was not aggressive toward the cat. Hinge is very outgoing and friendly. He is not shy and will happily great all strangers. He has not had any trouble sharing food treats and toys with people or other dogs. He loves to carry a toy around in his mouth and even lets his foster mom dress him up in cute costumes. He loves to explore and play but is also sweet and cuddly. He is a fun, curious and happy puppy. He can definitely be vocal at times but mostly when playing. Adopting a young puppy is a ton of work. They will have lots of potty accidents, chew things up etc. You will need to help them learn things like leash walking, crate training and basic manners. It can be a lot of work but the reward is a dog that fits well into your family’s lifestyle if you invest proper time on training with them. Please carefully consider the time and effort a puppy requires before adopting. Hinge is amazing, adorable and well behaved. You will be so happy if you choose to add this special guy to your family!! Vet and home checks required. Located in Hampton VA. (He will need to be adopted within a 2 hour drive radius) ??Please message [email protected] or the Facebook page directly with questions or to get an application??
