My Story
Meet Hobart
Nickname: Hobie
Breed: Boxer
Rescue: Albert's Dog Lounge
Age: Senior
Weight: 60 lbs
Fun fact: I love to watch kitties! I will respectfully sniff them, because I want to be friends!
Foster home: Oregon, WI
Activity level: Medium. I enjoy walkies outside but I also am a fan of naps!
Friendly with: Dogs, cats & older, respectful children.
Sleep style: Dog bed on the floor
Meals: Hobart eats Fromms senior dry food. One +1/4 cup twice daily. And two TBS canned mixed in mornings with his supplements. Loves all snacks- hard and soft
Snore-o-meter: 0
Bark-o-meter: 1 this is a QUIET boy!
Shedding meter: 2. I shed a little bit, but not a huge shedding offender!
Fashion: This gentleman loves winter coat when going outside. If it is taken off of him and he is chilly, he tries to put it back on himself.
Signature color: royal blue pops against my fur
Walk out song: The theme from Rocky! It matches my distinct stride!
Favorite season: Fall! I want to crunch through the leaves and sniff the sniffs on walkies with you!
Personality: Easy going, loves to be near his people, friendly, cuddly
Best feature: My white “collar” and sweet white paws tie with my perfect, go with the flow nature
Signature move: Listening for the freezer to open and magically appearing in the kitchen in the hopes of a snack
Wish list: Lots of walkies, people who will let him laze around the house, rotisserie chicken, someone to have a gossip sesh with in front of the fireplace
Bucket list: A trip to the pet store for stuffed squeaky toys and tennis balls, a visit to TJ Maxx to add to my winter coat collection, a family to give me the last chapters that I deserve
Hobie is great with all dogs, big and small, he plays with a very small (male) dog with stuffed toys and tennis balls. He is also very good with a big senior dog (female) and they lay next to each other when sleeping. He knows Sit, stay, wait, shake, no, come. He’s very smart!
