My Story

If interested in adopting, please contact Carolyn at 240 316 6292. Honey (estimated being born 2/2023) is an extremely loyal, affectionate girl with a trusting soul and a loving heart. She’s a survivor, too - she was found abandoned for days behind a Starbucks, she had fly bitten ears and pyometra (a life threatening uterine infection). After an emergency spay and some time to heal, she’s recovered completely and ready to carpe diem in her new forever home. She‘s very mellow, content to lounge with you for hours on the couch, but is also game to go on adventures. Calm in crowds, amazing in the car, she is very easy to take with you. She loves a good walk or even a jog if she has the chance, but she is also happy to take it easy for extended periods when she’s home, whether she’s free or in the crate. She is friendly on the leash and doesn’t bark when you pass other dogs. She is a social girl, excited to meet new people and has made several new dog friendships the last couple months (big and small breeds). She has a strong fascination with cats, but has not mingled with them up close so far. Probably best suited for a household without cats.
