My Story

With a name like Honey Peaches, this girl is sure to make each day a little sweeter! She is peachy keen and sweet like honey!
Meet Honey Peaches Momma - this 2 year old, American Bulldog mix, recently gave birth to a happy and healthy litter of pups and is now ready to find her forever family! She currently weighs about 52 pounds (as of 12/19/24).
UPDATE from her New England foster: Honey Peaches is affectionate and wants to be with her people whenever possible. Her sweet personality won over her southern foster who has checked on her each day since her arrival; after just 3 days with this girl, we can see why and have no doubt whoever adopts Honey will be in love as well. She is great with our dogs, cats, and kids, and loves to cuddle. She is housebroken, loves toys, and has a blast exploring outside, even in these cold temperatures. Honey is nervous with big groups of people and wants to hide for a bit, so a patient adopter who understands big group events won't be her scene for now would be best.
Her foster shares: "Honey Peaches Momma is the best! She enjoys being the center of attention and loves going on adventures! She would love to spend all day outside exploring and running around in the back yard, or playing with her stuffed animals. She loves to go for walks or play fetch with a tennis ball. She plays great with our 2 resident pups, and does fine with our resident cats, too! She is also housebroken and we're working with her to teach her basic commands. She's such a good girl and can't wait to find a forever family to call her own!"

Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application.
