My Story

Meet the sweetest girl, Honor. She is a six month old yellow lab mix with a black nose and the sweetest puppy eyes. Honor is house broken and dog door trained, walks beautifully on a leash, loves car rides and is indifferent to cats. She can be a little timid when first meeting people, but once warming up, she is completely devoted. Her foster mom thinks this would make her a wonderful companion for kids over 12 and adults. Honor is a tripod and has healed well after surgery; her loss hasn't slowed down her playing one bit (she was hit by a car and her leg could not be saved) This girl loves other dogs, especially wrestling and mouth play. She would do well with another playful dog, but it is not a requirement. She is both treat and praise driven which will be helpful as she continues to learn. Her foster mom says "Honor acts older than her age. But when she settles in, she is a funny and quirky labby. She tosses her toys and plays by herself when we go to work together. She loves to chew on bones and takes naps throughout the day. When home, she loves to sun in the backyard, play with my other dogs, and snuggle up for some napping/tv watching."
