Hooch is a 5 month old neutered male Boxer mix. From his foster- “Hooch is a fantastic puppy - some lucky household is going to be so happy to meet him. He sleeps through the night in a crate and will potty outside when given the opportunity. He’s a genius (my untrained opinion) who picked up on “sit” in two training sessions. I am confident he’ll be completely housebroken in no time. He’s smart, curious and incredibly loving. He chases his tail like it’s an Olympic sport and is easily redirected away from throw pillows and rugs to doggie toys, balls and bones. He pounces on toys and sticks with enthusiasm and is proud to bring them back to you (and a little confused when you throw them again - he’s a genius). He’s a social butterfly and knows that everyone on our walk obviously wants to say hello. A short walk in the morning and he is a couch potato for most of the day. Want to Adopt? 1) Fill out an application on theluckypuppy.org The adoption fees for puppies up to 12 months are a minimum donation of $600, (dogs too young to be fixed will have an extra $200 deposit, refundable pending your spay/neuter agreement), 1 year and up are a minimum donation of $500, 7+ years or special needs are a minimum $400 donation 2) Once your application is in, our adoption coordinator will contact you and complete a vet check and home visit (possibly electronic). 3) Once approved, please schedule a meet and greet to see the dogs. Meet and greets are by appointment only for approved adopters.
Hooch is available in NY through the Go North Program of The Lucky Puppy Rescue, rescue based in Bonifay and Panama City, FL and adoption center in Argyle NY (NY Lic #1054). The minimum donation $600 adoption fee includes transportation from FL to NY, spay/neuter surgery or spay/neuter agreement (if too young), up to date with: age appropriate vaccinations, de-worming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention (if old enough) and martingale safety collar. Adoption fee payment methods accepted are credit, debit, Paypal, Venmo and bank checks. No personal checks or cash. Applications must be submitted through our website - theluckypuppy.org - thank you!
