My Story

Hoodie’s mama was a stray that gave birth under someone's house in a rural town we help. The owner of the home contacted us to ask for help. The puppies were about 4 weeks old when our volunteer picked them up to foster them. The mama was missing her back foot, and we don’t know how that happened. She is with a foster too, and has had surgery to remove her leg. Hoodie is 8 weeks old now, and is ready to find his forever family. Hoodie is being fostered with adult dogs and cats. He does great with them. He is learning how to walk on a leash and he sleeps in a crate with one of his siblings. He is smart, sweet and loves to play. We think Hoodie is a Husky or Australian Shepherd mix, and he weighs 9 pounds. He is 8 weeks old. His mother weighs 41 pounds, so Hoodie will likely be around the same weight when he’s full grown. Hoodie has been vaccinated twice for DHPP, bordetella vaccinated, microchipped and is current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention. He can arrive in Montana on January 12.
