My Story

Introducing Hopscotch, a wonderful pup who is ready to leap into your heart! Hopscotch is a social butterfly who loves everyone she meets and is as sweet as can be. She especially loves going on walks - when she sees her leash come out, she gets super excited and hops with joy! She's all about going on sniffy adventures and will happily lead the way. Affectionate and playful, Hopscotch is looking for a family who is ready to keep up with her adventurous spirit. Hopscotch isn't just cute, she's also incredibly smart and a fast learner. This clever girl loves to learn and has the brains to match her sweetness! Whether it's mastering basic commands or practicing fun new tricks, she's quick to catch on and always eager to show off her skills and impress her friends. Thanks to her love of tasty treats, Hopscotch always enjoys working for a snack, which is sure to keep you entertained too! Hopscotch would probably be a good fit for most families. Hopscotch needs to meet other dogs one-on-one first. Our staff would love to help make introductions! Hop on over and make Hopscotch part of your family! This suggested adoption fee allows the ASPCA to continue our lifesaving work and help even more animals in need. We are grateful for any and all amounts given at the time of adoption.* For more information on adopting from the ASPCA, please visit www.aspca.org/adoptionsteps. **The ASPCA is committed to prioritizing the health and safety of the community, the animals in our care and our staff, and we are keeping a close eye on developments related to the COVID-19 crisis as they evolve. As such, the ASPCA Adoption Center in New York City is currently closed for in-person visitors. However, we are excited to offer remote adoptions using video conferencing! In-person meet-and-greets are also sometimes available or required for specific animals. Please check out our available cats and dogs above, and if one catches your eye, apply directly for him or her. An ASPCA Matchmaker will let you know if the animal you are interested in adopting is eligible for or requires an in-person meet-and-greet. Please note: Adoption applications are handled in the order they are received and submitting an adoption survey does not constitute a hold or guaranteed adoption. You can expect to receive automated emails updating you on your adoption status as our Matchmakers go through applications. Thank you for your patience, and we hope you find your match!**
