Meet Ice!!! This is one of those dogs that once you meet you will NEVER forget! Ice came to us from a city shelter in 2018- he was adopted out to a family who had always had poodles. After three months, this family returned him to us because he shed too much! YES German Shepherds Shed. Shortly after being returned to our rescue, a couple adopted him and loved the mess out of him until they divorced! Husband kept Ice and their other dogs for a little over a year but he had sudden health issues causing him to need assisted living arrangement where they could not have animals. Yet again this truly one of a kind, amazing dog had ended up in a shelter setting.
Ice needs a home where he can be loved forever! A home where the family knows he is going to shed but nothing that cannot be vacuumed up. A home where he is surrounded by kids and love! A home with other dogs or without dogs. He is great with them but he is completely find with just humans too! A home where he can go visit people in the nursing homes and assist living because he is the best boy ever.
Yes Ice is a 9 Year old German Shepherd but he is young at heart and his has perfect bloodwork. He has so many more great years to share with you if you will let him!
