Ilona

Hi, my name is Ilona, named after US Olympian, Ilona Maher, I am a female, Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle mix, weighing in at a healthy 15 lbs. My age is unknown but, the vet estimates I’m a young adult so let’s say 3! I’ve been living with my foster parents and their dogs and done fine with all of them, pretty much ignoring the other dogs and loving on the humans constantly. I am a velcro pup, and incredibly happy to see my humans whenever they walk in the room, I’ll run up and give them kisses. I am not a big fan of kids (no aggression, but no love), or the crate, and definitely do not like thunderstorms or fireworks. I am potty trained and can be left at home outside of a crate and do not get into any trouble, but I certainly want to be with you all of the time. Snuggling up while watching TV or reading a book, or going for a walk and letting me use my excellent sniffer to find all the scents, either way I’m in! My background is a mystery since I came in as a stray in southern Ohio, but I sure do love human adults, and am on the lookout for a new family!
