My Story

Meet Iris, a adorable 10-week-old female black Labrador Retriever seeking her forever home! This baby is outgoing, playful, and full of energy. She loves to cuddle and is super sweet, making her the perfect companion for any family. Iris is friendly, goofy, and endlessly curious - always eager to explore and learn new things. (These photos were all taken on 3/4/25) Baby Iris was owner-surrendered to our rescue. She is going to grow up into a big, lovable and affectionate canine companion being a Black Lab. She particularly enjoys playing with toys and is sure to bring joy and laughter to any household. Don't miss out on the opportunity to adopt Iris - apply today and give this delightful baby girl the loving home she deserves! Her adoption fee is $450.00 (cash or credit card) that includes a $75 spay deposit that you receive back once the puppy is spayed at 6 months. ***** If you think you are a fit for this puppy, please fill out an application. HOW TO APPLY: If you would like to apply for this dog or any of our other dogs, please request an application by clicking the “START YOUR INQUIRY” button. You can also go directly to our website at www.waganimalrescue.com to fill out an application. You must be at least 25 years old to apply. IMPORTANT: An application must be filled out and approved before we will make special arrangements to meet a dog. A volunteer will review your application and contact you if your application is approved or if further clarification is required. We will make every attempt to contact APPROVED applicants within 5 business days of application submission (M-F), but this will depend on the number of applications received. If you do not answer all questions then your application may not be processed. WAG Animal Rescue adopts to homes that are best fits for our animals' needs, and not on a first-come, first-served basis. We are an all-volunteer organization, and regret that we do not have the resources to contact applicants that are not approved. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. WE DO NOT HAVE A SHELTER. All of our animals are kept in foster homes.
