Ivan

Poor Ivan came to us extremely thin, obviously he had been on his own for awhile. Ivan is a big boy, both tall and heavy. He is approx. 2-4 yrs. old and his stubby tail wiggles and wiggles. The temperament of a rottie is loyal and protective. They tend to be a little reserved with strangers. Training, socialization, and regular exercise are a must for this breed. NOTE: all animals adopted are taken straight to a local veterinarian for spay/neuter. We do adopt out of area providing adopter is will to make more than one trip. There are NO exceptions, and we do not hold animals. All Kittens and puppies must weigh 2 lbs. for surgery and there are a limited number of veterinarians in our area that will do a pediatric spay/neuter. please note the Rockbridge Spca does not have emotional support animals or service animals. we do not adopt to college students, however, they are welcome to volunteer. NOTE: a fenced area is required and a home visit may be required.
