Happy Jack is an adorable puppy (born 10 Aug) who can hardly wait to begin his journey as your new best friend! Just look at those sweet, soulful eyes! Our best guess is that he's a mix of Boxer & plott hound or mountain cur with a dash of catahoula leopard dog for good measure. This cheerful little guy is confident, playful & smart! He has great focus for such a young pup & is eager to please, very receptive to training (see the video clip included for a demonstration of how much he enjoys training:). He loves to play, explore & wrestle with his siblings. Once he's good & tuckered out, he loves to cuddle up & nap with his human companions. Jack would thrive in a more active home or with another dog to play with. We anticipate he'll grow to be 45 to 50lbs making for a portable, versatile companion. He's been wormed, had initial vaccinations, will be microchipped. He must be neutered when he's between 6-12 months - you can have that done at one of our Houston vets at no additional cost or if done by your vet, we will give you a rebate of $100. Jack is being fostered in Fulshear TX but we can have him brought to IA on rescue transport which brings dogs up once a month. His adoption fee is $425 plus $30 for a health certificate and $220 for transport.
