Jack

Jack came to us from our local municipal shelter. He was brought in as a “stray”. We didn’t want him to stay in a loud and noisy shelter as such a young puppy so he joined our foster program. Jack has an estimated DOB of 11/01/2024. He is a goofy, happy go lucky, energetic, cuddle bug. He loves everybody he comes in contact with and is slowly learning to give space to the ones that don’t love him as much as he thinks they should. He has been around kids of all ages and loves them all but is still puppy mouthy. He has been around dogs from 10 weeks to 16 years old. He is learning to respect the space of the older dog and is accepting that she does not want to play with him even though he still tries once in a while. He takes correction very well. Jack is a quick learner and is already picking up manners and wants to please. He has also been around cats. He does play with the cat but if he’s going to a home with a cat, the cat should be confident. He is crated while his foster is at work and has not had an accident. He sleeps in the bed at night and can wait until morning to go outside. He does still have a few accidents during the day but mostly during play time and he is getting really good at going to the door to say he has to go outside. Even though he has a lot of energy, he is a huge cuddle bug! He is ready to play whenever you are but he is also ready to lay down and watch TV with you all night long. He is very treat motivated but he is also praise motivated and is just happy that you are happy. He knows sit and is getting good at stay. Jack is neutered, vaccinated to age, chipped, dewormed and is on monthly preventatives. His adoption fee is $450 with $50 back if positive reinforcement puppy class is completed within 3 months of adoption.
