PLEASE SAVE JACK DON'T LET THIS BE JACK'S LAST NIGHT.......GO MEET JACK, HE'S WORTH IT!! Time is running out for Jack, a sweet 1.5-year-old who has been living in a kennel at the shelter for far too long. His brother went to a foster home a month ago, leaving Jack still waiting. He was surrendered after being abandoned by his owner in a rental property. Jack is incredibly friendly with people and other dogs. He has an excitable personality and loves meeting new people. He is VERY food motivated and eager to learn new things! Jack enjoys playing with toys and is always up for a game of fetch. Remember, Jack is still a puppy and would benefit from additional training. He loves to learn and is ready to be your loyal companion. However, on 10/16, when being put away from a walk, he became very barrier reactive to the dog next door to him while his kennel door was being opened and redirected on the calf of the staff member trying to put him away. We know this behavior is because Jack is extremely stressed here and that he deserves a real life out of the shelter!
