My Story

Meet Jagger! Jagger originally came to CCHS way back in May of 2021 as a transfer puppy from Texas. He got adopted in June of that year and unfortunately had to make his way back to us due to circumstances in his owners' personal lives that no longer allowed them to give him the attention he needs. He is a stellar guy with lots of personality to spare! He is an active pup who would love to join you on your next hiking adventure. He has a lot of training under his belt already, just needs a someone to show it off to! Apply for Jagger today! Approved applicants will be notified via email. Please check junk/spam folders for a response. The adoption fee is $250. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption. CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going. We are committed to helping the animals that enter our doors and finding each the best possible forever home. CCHS has been inspected and licensed by the Department of Animal Health - DATCP. Our license is #268235-DS.
